Welcome to the C & R Research, where we’ll be exploring the innovative solutions that our research scientists have developed to tackle environmental challenges. Our company, based in Australia, specializes in non-conventional energy solutions, with a particular focus on seawater sequestration and the desalination process.
By utilizing these processes, we can produce rare metals, hydrogen gas, and clean water, effectively turning waste into something of extreme value. For example, extracting hydrogen from seawater removes the need for fossil fuels and requires no fresh water, saving 100% of the existing freshwater currently used. In contrast, fossil fuels use groundwater that could be used for irrigation.
So Who is C & R Research?
C & R Research is a newly established UK company that specializes in non-conventional energy solutions, flood solutions, site selection, and environmental impact advice. Our company is an extension of C & R Consulting Pty Ltd Australia and aims to translate its unique expert knowledge of UCG, CSG, and Surface Gasification processes and their impacts into the global market from its London base. Our core clients are major mining and energy companies seeking assistance with the identification of suitable sites. C & R Consulting Pty Ltd is a Townsville-based specialist Environmental Consulting Company with a reputation for delivering cost-effective solutions to complex environmental problems.
Who Are Our People?
Our company is led by Directors/Principal Scientists Dr. Chris Cuff and Dr. Cecily Rasmussen, who are both experts in their respective fields. Dr. Cuff specializes in various fields such as Spectral analyses, Hydrological and geochemical modeling, Contaminated water and soil remediation, Acid rock leaching, and Groundwater movement. Dr. Rasmussen specializes in coastal, marine, hydrological, and tropical processes. Our team also has access to highly qualified and experienced personnel in other areas such as botany, soils, GIS, fluvial geomorphology, aquatic ecology, flood modeling and assessment, mine compliance assessment, surveying and computation, and design and project management.
At C & R Consulting, we pride ourselves on assessing, evaluating, and interpreting geological, hydrological, geomorphological, environmental, geochemical, and mineralogical analytical data. We recognize that the correct advice acquired at the preliminary stage of any project reduces the potential for unexpected problems during both the development and operational period of a project.
